starview 6 problem

hi all, could any1 help, i've had eurovox's for years without any problem . recently i got a starview 6 and cant seem to get anywhere with it despite the firmware i update with. could any1 help as im totally dubious

what firmware you got on the box? how are you connecting?

ive tried grooverider and carling found channels emu seems 2 be on but only gettin fta. i know new cards are rolled out in my area but my ev5000 is working fine as my sammy 2100. im a bit unsure bout lan connection cant find tutorial or sticky covering issue. any help would be excellent

Connect the box to your internet(Modem or Router) via an ethernet port if you are using a bridge you will need to set this up from your computer first. Once you have connected the box via an ethernet port or bridge connect your cable connection and make sure it is screwed on right to the end.Once you have all your connections sorted turn the box on and follow the details below:
Go to
Options
Networks
Press ok
Ip set up
Press ok, scroll to the right until you are at manual then go back to auto if connected correctly your ip address and all other details will show up automatically. If not you will have to enter them manually.
Exit
Now go on to installation
Auto Search
Press ok
Now choose your area, If you are in NTL is is 6887 and TW is 6952 or press auto on the symbol rate and press search.
This should find all the channels
Now once scanned go to menu
Options
Network
Net Application
Change the type to Ustream
Go on to any channels and the channels should come up

many thanks m8 all up n runnin although few channels missin ie mtv base diva, the box, kiss & couple of others. all premiums are there. i know nagra 3 rollout is starting to take place here but thought u stream worked round it?

they are probably adding channels in phases, at the start when the server came up only 80+ channels came then more and more came so hopefully they will all come soon

according to a another forum they say that the server is down to maintenance apprently. And should be up and running soon.

The server is working now but certain channels don't come up since the server has come up.
