Eurovox Remote Control Freezing - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi there.

got Eurovox Max yesterday, and got it installed ok, only problem is remote keeps freezing.

Anyone else suffer from this? I have heard it does sort itself out, but it been up and running for about 15 hours now, and is getting on my wick.

It works intermittently, seemed better this morning than last night, got as far as setting up a few favs, then it froze on me.

I didn't get any s/w with the box, the firmware was already installed. I didn't get one of those cables to connect to the pc either.

Can anyone help?

rather than posting here should you not be contacting the person you bought it from you need a null modem lead and its either your remote thats faulty or your remote sensor on the box , best test would be to try your remote on another max .

My eurovox can take time to change on certain channels FX is one of the top of my head.

After a rescan though it seems to be faster at accessing the EPG since virgin media took over

HI Rudebhoy. When your remote freezes just leave it for about 5-15 mins without pressin any buttons it shud work again after that mate.
