Hi
Im getting really frustrated now... Ive figured out how to change the MAC address on my modem. I have now changed it to another segment from my franchise and cloned a friends. Im in jarr.03 and he is jarr.05, so got his mac and changed it But, still no luck. All the green lights are on, except the online light which is blinking on and off. After a bit, the modem just reboots and does the same again. I dont subscribe to the provider, telePest, but my dbox2 works on the line, with all channels running.. Is my line active to receive the internet? Just eliminating things before I attempt to reflash the box and start over Thanks |

Hi mate. from the sounds of things that mac is already in use on that ubr. can't remember the exact specific details of why this happens but basicly yours and the legitimate subscriber's modem will be taking turns doing that resetting thing. So if yr confused imagine how the other poor bastard feels
![]() just get yr mate to do a dhcp force sniff for some other macs. good luck. |
