hi Rockmore,
i also live in the nw on other side of the pennines .
you dont say what set-up you have? so i will say what
you can get with various set-up's and what's available
i take it your looking premiership football games
on astra at 19e whith a t-rex 4.6 cam you can open
d+ taquilla package football/film/cartoon/music/adult/doc's/gen chns.
most of these channels have english audio.
premiere german chns, more or less the same mix of channels with english audio feature
hotbird 13e there is tps/multivision and football channel [ not open on this cam] it can be viewed with other things.
as for sky calco or any of the channels no way [only by official subscription]
and this is very expensive, art channels again only with official subscription
as for chanels at 7w you will need a very large dish, i have a 1.2mt dish
and it only picks up a few channels and mainly at night in good weather
as for the art chn that are showing football i cant get a signal from these
channels. if you have a technomate 1500ci receiver you can get all thats
on19e and tps chns on 13e chns on5e/4w/15w/ and 30w on here you will
get d+taquilla again and tv-carbo and the have sports chns for the soccer.
i hope this has cleared up a few of you questions, as i say there are many
ways, the cheapest is the tm 1500ci receiver as you dont need any cards
or cams to open what opens with the t-rex cam and this receiver costs
less than a cam and a programmer to update the cam. if this interests you
look in the technomate section and you will get a lot of info, and ask again
if you need more help advise etc:

I don't have any set up at the moment.

How much would it cost to get Spanish, Italian and German games officially live? the real deal. Also how would I go about doing so?.

hi Rockmore,
if you mean official subscription, it's going to cost a arm and a leg.
the last time a sub for sky italia was asked about on anouther forum i think
he got told about £1000 a year and thats for one provider. like i
said the encryption for sky italia chns is very secure and cant be
viewed any other way, get yourself a technomate 1500ci and a
motorised dish and you will open the spanish and german channels.
i will give you a pm with a link to a dealers site that deals in official cards for european providers.
