Default New Virgin email settings??

Does anyone have the manual instructions for the new Virgin email please.

Mine are @blueyonder.co.uk BTW

I have received emails from them , but the link to the manual instructions doesn't work.

Typical USELESS Virgin. Couldn't organise a P** up in a brewery.

But, what were the required changes??

i.e, is it a different server, if so what are the new settings?

All my email accounts are currently working fine.

But, how long for, I don't know, and how to update my settings to comply with the email, I don't know either.

Their support forum doesn't have the answer, just links to pages that are down.

Virgin are a joke!

just found out links work only on ie not firefox [VM doesnt like FF]
here is the manual instructions:
Due to a recent upgrade to our email service, you may need to make a few small changes to ensure that your Outlook Express, Windows Mail or Thunderbird email program keeps working.
We have created a tool to do this for you automatically here (or see related link on the right), but if you would rather make these changes manually, choose the relevant link below to see the new settings you need.

No, the links are now working, because the pages are now back on.

Thanks anyway.

I have posted them on their forum, as none of their support staff can be bothered.

They've moved the mail storage to google mail.

Which would be fine, but google's spam filter puts suspected spam messages into its webmail 'spam' folder...so you never see them in your email client if you're using POP3.

Your email client only downloads 'new' messages, not messages put into special folders.

Fine unless legit mail gets flagged as spam...you only ever find it was sent to you in the first place if you look at your mailbox using webmail
