Just ordered a HTC Desire... Anyone got one? Know any good appz for it, I intend to root it and make a good card, done a bit of reading much more to do though

Only do it if you know what your doing as a m8 of mine had a go of doing it and it never worked and now the phone is bricked....

Well had it some time now and still love it!! Rooted it the other day currently running [Froyo Sense] LeeDrOiD Mod V1.4c (22/07 l FR91_2.06 l Fast l Stable l WWE)Should have done it weeks ago phone much faster battery life much better and I have Froyo 2.2 double bonus

Doddle to do as I didn't need a gold card as mine was unbranded.

dont get a desire send it back,the phone you want is a samsung galaxy s the fastest phone at the min far better than a desire the screen is amazing 720p recording
i was going to get a desire last week but i got a galaxy s
you wont be sorry

and you can root it,does everything a desire does but better and quicker read up on it its great phone

I have 720p and its running at 1197mhz (overclocked) as needed

is there 720 on the desire i was really going to get one of those phones,my last contact was a lg arena lol very crappy phone looked great but thats it

yes with the cpuset app the samsung can be overclocked as well which is cool that any phone can be overclocked,i cant belive phones have 1gz cpus in them now

my first pc was a 400mhz or so lol

Finally! Been waiting 4 months to get my hands on the Desire from Vodafone, never been in stock, I rang again today and truthfully if it wasn’t in I was going to go for the cheaper version called wildfire, soon as I asked the man on phone went ballistic saying OMG it is in lol he was over the moon for me. Hope it is as good as I have read
