Hello All,
Guess I'm in the right field with this one, I'm trying to connect my Hitachi CP-S210WT Projector to my virgin box (silver standard one). For some reason it won't connect together though the scart cable. I have tried using a scart to VGA 15pin cable but to no avail. I've also tried using the 3 coloured (Red, Yellow & white) plug cable though a scart cable adaptor but still nothing. There don't seem to many compatible sockets on either box.
I did have more luck using my eurovox box but new cards arrived yesterday and I guess by the time the world cup starts the Eurovox will be dead. I've invited half the street to watch the world cup in the garden/ garage hate to end up having egg on my face and cancelling the whole show. So if you any trick to connect the 2 boxes please give me shout.

A few possibles;

Is the V-Box sending signals out through the SACRT socket that the S210 can receive, IE are you sending in RGB and is the projector looking for RGB? You need to match the signal types (SCART can carry either Composite Video, S-Video or RGB depending on what the VBOX is sending).

Is the Scart cable fully wired - all pins have a wire connected?

Went down to Maplin (last stop saloon) and they put me right, cheers Ray. Works out that you can get both in & out scart plugs which dumm arse here did not realise!!!!.
Anyway it's all sorted and I can rest in piece until the big kick off on the 11th. The things you do for the neighbours!!!!.
