Hi i have a N958GB version want to debrand it need to know what software and which code to use for the uk any help would be great.

Plug in your phone and choose pc suite mode and install the drivers if you already havent

go into nokia pc suite and backup all your data using the option there.

disconnect your phone and go into menu,tools, memory card,options, back up phone memory to memory card

connect your phone to your pc and click pc suite mode. install NSS from here

now goto NSS from your start menu and click the magnifying glass (scan for ne device)

after that click the picture of the nokia 6600 (phone info)

where it says product code type in 0536065 (providing it's a UK locked phone..
now click on write and after a few seconds at the bottom left hand corner of NSS it should say done or successful or something.

after thats done close NSS and open nokia software updater

keep clicking next etc until it finds your phone and voila a new update is found.

let the nokia software do its job and you then should have a debranded UK version of the N95 with all features that should be there.

yes and no.
yes this is the correct method however if you use that product code you will destroy your phone as that product code is for a N95 not a N95 8GB. there is a difference.

Opps missed that and yeah dude1 is correct also what f/w is on it ? Just upgraded my old 95 unbranded unlocked and rooted has been a great servant

Hi thanks for all the information will give it a go over the weekend. Hi i used pc suite and the f/w is up to date if this what you are asking .

just type in *#0000# on the phone keypad
it will tell you the rm version then use a unbranded firmware to flash the phone
