Yesterday morning i.e. 27th May my box started to give our message saying "No service found", tried to do full scan but had no luck. Then I tried to reflash the box by doing the following steps.

1. Downloaded the latest v3 image, via FTP I logged onto the box and copied the image to the /tmp folder. The image was about 7mb in size.
2. Using the remote blue button menu I went into the option that runs "Flashbox" (Dont remember the exact name).
3. The box started to flash and then suddenly there was a message saying "Illegal command"

When I restarted the box the green light stays on and nothing comes on the screen. The box can't be pinged as well! Have I bricked it?

BTW I have a Eurovox Ultra which was on DW v2.0 and am based in Swindon.

I dont have null modem cable but if I can get one can I resolve the issue? using the Utility that flashes via the COM port? Is there any easy way out?

Would really appreciate any help.

just use dreamup you will need null modem lead.
