Hi All,

I'm looking through the Chaos firmware at the moment, was the sourcecode for this ever released?

Thanks

Just another thought aswel, who actually made the CHAOS firmware? Was it a team or just one person?

Sorry for asking so many questions, I've googled but all I get back are forum posts about people regarding how to flash their funcard

tbh the answer is not that simple.

The original hex was for a funcard for spain called TV92. This has already had lots of people working on it, hacking it around.

It was adapted for the UK and mods to support AutoRoll made. "Chaos" was just one persons latest mod to it made by somebody I tought a little AVR coding to.

If your interested in funcard sourcecode's then have a look for the Grape source. This will likely be close enough to chaos so that you can run the Chaos binary through a dis-assembler and then recognise most of the routines.

If you must have the latest chaos source then run that through a disassembler (IdaPro is good). Using the grape source you'll soon fathom it out - its fairly easy to get back to source you can run through an assembler to produce binary.

Thank TheCoder,

I'm currently disassembling the chaos f/w. I can understand past sending the ATR, just looking at the Timer Interrupt for receiving data at the min.

Do you have grape.asm source?
