I switched my satellite off from the mains a couple of nights ago as i normally do, and the next morning switched it back on but none of the channels have a signal. Hotbird, Astra1, Thor 1west all have no signal.
Usually its a case of just moving the dish right and left a few degrees till it finds the signal again but i tried hat and its not working for any of the satellites or channels. Can anyone help please??? Thanks alot

Check all the connections, both on your receiver and, if possible, on the LNB.
Have you checked if any channels are working? If it's a LNB problem sometimes you can get one polarity, either Horizontal or Vertical. If all the connections are fine check that the dish hasn't moved. Then it's a case of trying a different receiver, new LNB or new cable. Try your receiver on someone else's satellite dish, anyone with a Sky dish will suffice. |

What I would do is to first send the dish to 1W. Then get a signal meter and connect directly to the LNB, trying to get a signal on 11325H, adjusting the dish if necessary, if that failed, change the LNB. Once it is working at the LNB, work your way back, through the motor, back to the receiver.
