Default Can I have two Broadband Connections on One BT Line

I need two different internet connections and at the moment I have o2 and virgin media. I am hoping to get a sky box and they are offering internet with it. Can I cancel virgin media and have two internet providers o2 and sky from the one bt line? I want to keep o2 as its costing me only £4 but virgin are charging £15 a month

no, not unless you get two completely independent BT phone lines installed thus paying two sets of subs per quarter etc.

when you take out your sub with sky tell them you have a internet provider you are happy with and that you are in no need to set up one with them. they will likely relent unless it's a special promotional offer that requires a sky broadband connection.
most of the time sky will let small things like that go if it means keeping a paying sub going.
i have known them to heavily discount a full years subs by up to 70 % just to keep that sub on their books.

Why would you need two ISP's any way?
