Hi I have J-tag'd this box retrieved the box key and IRD programmed the card (Have experience in this) I have none of the cable channels though the guide is lit up I have set the pin I am in a pure area btw in the engineers menu page 5 the overall status says possible problems

2 items in the field

SNR Estimate (db) 26.4 (but this number fluctuates)

CM Lock status Unlocked

Any help greatly appreciated

Has your area been hit by N3? If so, you will only get freeview channels.

I have 2 pace boxes here also I modded myself still working fine. All the boxes have mosc cards in

If my other 2 are working fine I'd assume I'm ok?

So I take it the box in question shows no channels whatsoever (including freeview)?

No freeview but 1-5 is fine

Its like the whole cable service is just absent terrestrial is ok and like I say the guide is lit up and the card status is ok in em

What happens when you go to a premium channel (Bravo, Sky Movies etc)?

Blank screen on movie channels it asks for a pin when I enter it it then goes blank again

Hi

I could be wrong but dont think your snr is good enough, you say its 26.4 would think it needs to be higher.

Check your cable connections for tightness and no strands are shorting with the inner core and see how you get on. You could try putting your cable directly to the 2nd tuner in box and see if it improves.

Thanks for all your help guys but I've given up! it was for a friend who I have sold one of my boxes to now

told him to get his money back on the sammy and tell the guy it was wanked! Thanks again
