MOSC Tutorial - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi, I'm newbie to this, does anybody have a Mosc tut? i know there's a funcard tut in gmail which worked a treat for me but i would like to know how to do a Mosc card as they are supposed to be better but harder to do, is this true? i have an infinity unlimited programmer and when i have it in pheonix mode with my mosc card it using nagra edit 5.1 i get

AIUI, you need a phoenix interface with a 6MHz oscillator - can the infinity be put into Phoenix mode?

Thanks for the reply Lincsat, yeah it has phoenix mode when the Virtual com port setting is used. There is a frequency setting for 6mhz is this what you meant by the oscillator? If so i tried it and still no luck :/

That should be what you need - I've never done a MOSC, but I thought that B0D cards were all blocked.

I got the card from ebay and the seller stated it was virgin and unlocked, but i don't know what or how to write to the card. i have exteep, inteep and flash files that i created with the funcard tut but can i use them? if so how?

nagra edit 5.1 is the wrong version for this card. use 4.1

Thanks for that gadgetfiend, but i'm still in the dark as how to get an image and write it to the card..can anyone help please?

i have Tried To find the Tutorial and ROm 11 Image file from G Drive but all in vain. I have tried to search all of the forum but cann't find any image of rom 11. fun card tutorial and files are in the Gmail Drive but there isn't any MOSC card files
