Default Re: Easy guide for updating the KV A780 and A750(with pics!)

Hello. Not posted on here in ages. I just recently heard about the KV A780 being used to watch All channels. I thought I was rather savvy when it came to stuff like this aswell. Anywho Im about to get a couple of boxes and I have read here and elsewhere that you need to set the box up while on VM but its better to straight away cancel VM and switch to another BB provider is this correct or is it just paranoia. Thanks

All good to stay VM, no need to change anything and you will still receive all the channels.

I had to factory reset and updated my box on Wednesday night and had to redo it again tonight, all good again.

OK I just got one KV box in.

1st thing I did was update the firmware

2nd I connected my VM cable to the back of the KV box and scanned for channels

3rd I removed the VM cable from the KV and connected the KV to my router

Now I cant see any channels??

I though I only needed a Ethernet cable connected to the KV to view all channels??
