Default Virgin Box - a scond box with no card?

Hi guys, I'm new and I'm hoping someone can give me the right info on this!

I have an existing Virgin TV subscription and have a Virgin + Box.
I need a second box in another room and there is an existing Virgin Wall socket there from the Internet connection. Will this also work for the TV cable?

Someone has offered me another box but it doesn't have a card.

Apologies if it's a stupid question but does that mean it will not work?
Is there anything I can do or will I just have to pay the subscrition to get a second box from Virgin?

thanks in advance

you will be able to run another box of the connection.

the box you have been given wont work, unless of course it is a chipped box with paired card in that case it will.

third party boxes will all soon be useless so no point buying one.

the way to go is official Virgin mutiroom.

I haven'y got my hands on it yet, so not 100% certain what type or if it has a card. If it does have a card is there a chance it will work?

thanks

there is a work around and I would suggest you use the search option or have a good read in the krypview and starview section for more details regarding this '' work around''
