Eurovox 1000 slim no power

Hi guys lastnight i had to do yet another deep scan to get some of my lost channels back after scan all good all channels back on but then this morning my mum was watchin tv and she said3 crack came from the box and at first was showin red light then blue light but nothing on screen so i switched it off and on and when i did that no power lights at all were on the box any ideas?? live in belfast.

either one your caps have blown or the PSU has gone.

Open it up and check for any leakeage or bulging on the caps

u can replace them if you good with a soldiering iron.

if its under warranty then send it back to the person who sold it to you

yes it can be fixed but you will need to obtain the parts from somewhere... best place to look is ebay and see if they have the psu for that model.

All in all it would cost more to repair that box, especially if someone else is doing it for you.

And to buy a new one is virtually pointless... Unless you get a starview 6 or a combo, but I dont know if that works where you are based.
