Default Help with Belkin G wireless router

My Belkin, which I have had for about 12 months decides to disconnect itself when trying to open certain websites with high content - namely Lovefilm.com

It will start to open the webpage, then hang for a while, not load all the images then as soon as you click on the 'log in' it is unable to load the page and disconnects.

I run a 'diagnose & repair' in Vista and it reconnects.

All other web pages seem fine, it's just Lovefilm I'm having a problem with. And it's only just started doing it within the last 2 months(ish).

I thought at first it was my ISP (Karoo) but they said my line is fine. So I took their advice and connected an old USB adsl modem I had, and hey presto it opened.

I have downloaded the latest firmware, resetted the router etc but it keeps doing it.

It will disconnect whether I try to open using the wired connection or the wireless connection.

Any ideas?
Is it a new router job???

My belkin was doing a very similar thing, I bought a new Linksys router, and all if fine. I could never resolve the Belkin problem, even after trying everything you have. I am not saying its the same problem, but it was the only way I could get it resolved.

Cheers thanks for the speedy reply. I'm pretty well keyed up when it comes to computers but must admit this thing has had me completely stumped.
Think I'll be on the lookout for a new one but will be steering away from Belkin.

Thanks again.

You might want to try changing your wireless channel - it might help.
