My Belkin, which I have had for about 12 months decides to disconnect itself when trying to open certain websites with high content - namely Lovefilm.com
It will start to open the webpage, then hang for a while, not load all the images then as soon as you click on the 'log in' it is unable to load the page and disconnects. I run a 'diagnose & repair' in Vista and it reconnects. All other web pages seem fine, it's just Lovefilm I'm having a problem with. And it's only just started doing it within the last 2 months(ish). I thought at first it was my ISP (Karoo) but they said my line is fine. So I took their advice and connected an old USB adsl modem I had, and hey presto it opened. I have downloaded the latest firmware, resetted the router etc but it keeps doing it. It will disconnect whether I try to open using the wired connection or the wireless connection. Any ideas? Is it a new router job???

My belkin was doing a very similar thing, I bought a new Linksys router, and all if fine. I could never resolve the Belkin problem, even after trying everything you have. I am not saying its the same problem, but it was the only way I could get it resolved.

Think I'll be on the lookout for a new one but will be steering away from Belkin. Thanks again.
