How to set the NetID on Pace 1000T. Funcard method. Firmware 3.7??

Hi guys

For the past three hours I been trying to set my NETID to Birmingham using the funcard. I have looked thoroughly through all posts here and tried the techniques, however it does not seem to work.
Is there a basic version of doing this with the NetID v2.8.
I was using the box fine in Newcastle and I have pulled red jumper out several times but not working. The box is an Pace 1000T and I am using the netid_hex_v1.8_funcard as the flash

Please let me know

have you tried an rs232 cable and libdebug, much quicker and easier.
