I have tried to flas by eurovox (early 1 scart machine) Loaded software eurovox V2 ??

When it had finished loading it said it failed, I now have on the front panel the letters PEAA, any ideas cannot seem to get the reciever torespond now ???

If you have a similar problem it is caused by flashing the wrong or unzipped firmware to the unit (he even stated he had a eurovox 1 and then said he flashed eurovox 2 f/w). Its easily resolved by flashing the proper firmware but follow below steps

1. unplug box
2. open up the dnupman program
3. choose the correct image for your particular unit. (ev1, ev2 etc )
4. Click download and select the correct COM port, then click download
5. Wait until you get the message (waiting response from receiver), re'apply power to the box and after a moment it should start downloading.

Hi, tried all you're suggestions, can't get PEAA off the front panel to do a reset, flashed the box with correct file, it was downloading then PEAA appeared, someone going to try jtag.

Finally fixed the problem, jtagged it but it took about 40 attempts! Thanks for you're reply.

When you jtag the box what tsop did you use mate.
