Default LNB problem

Hi,
I have a problem with fitting the proper LNB, dual fitment. I am using a Sky dish-photos supplied here of it and my old LNB.
I bought a quad LNB but it hasn't worked and i believe maybe the type/shape?
Can anyone advise? I am only trying to get French free analgue channels on Astra, not Sky.
System works fine with old single LNB.
Thanks for any advice!

Have a little patience, you only posted a couple of hours ago !

You need the right legacy adapter to fit the dish, can you post a picture of the quad you want to fit ?

Ta .hanks...yes patience is a virtue....

I could fit the quad 'sky branded' quad but it would n't pick up a signal unless directed at totally diff angle and removed from the dish connection. The bloke who sold it said i may need a round LNB whatever that refers to.

I have just sold it now on ebay! Here is the link, should it still work and shows the images.
QUAD LNB, BRAND NEW, HD READY, SKY on eBay (end time 18-Jun-10 13:45:58 BST)
many thanks for any advice, Tony

That LNB is a Mk3 with a Mk4 legacy adapter if i'm not mistaken. And your dish is a Mk2. This LNB Quad Lnb New Wnc New Boxed Sky, Sky+,Sky Hd on eBay (end time 07-Jul-10 14:36:44 BST) should fit no problems.

Thumbs up Re: LNB problem

Hi Rick

many thanks for that. Much appreciated. Now my wife can watch French TV (analogue free channels) on TV upstairs while we watch the football downstairs. Managed to buy an analogue receiver from Luxemburg for £20 ....thank you again,
Tony
