i dont get the errors when firmware is stock.
i have reflashed it with iextreme 1.5.1 and i get the error again, the drive reads the disc, comes up play game the a error screen comes up saying the disc needs cleaning or restart console. i took the drive apart and cleaned the lens, the game worked 1st time, then when retried same error again, i know the firmware is good now, because it played the game, but it has no problems with retail games or dvd's only copies. any ideas??? |

What DL discs are you using? Verbatims work best but they are expensive, AOnes also work well and they are pretty cheap. I usually get 50 AOne printables for around £12 on eBay
.

Even if he didn't run the ISO through ABGX360, it would still be playable. However, if you wish to use Live lucas29, ABGX360 is a must.

yes i run the games through abgx.
the discs i used were only cheap as i had never copied games before, but as i said they work in the benq drive on my other console. is the hitachi drive more glitchy therefore the discs could be the problem? it plays bought games and dvd's no problem but put a copy in and it says open tray. |

There lies your problem then, the so-called "cheap discs" you are using probably don't work with Hitachi drives. Even though your other drive plays them fine, the Hitachi may have trouble reading it.
