Default ex 5100 hdd and dropped channels.

hi all.

firstly hello to you all on this forum, its a nice decent friendly site, for once.

just wondererd if anyone knew how to get a hard drive fitted in this thing, a laptop drive goes in but it wont push fully home for some reason?

and secondly i seem to have lost all the music channels and some odd ones here and there, shame really as they were my favourite ones!

im v/m in south east.

any help with these two issues is most welcomed.

many thanks.

.2. delete all data / factory reset / full deep scan / and re-sort what you get - 20 minutes well spent.

.1. are you sure it takes a your HDD / couple a screws / open up / does it ?, and ;

while your in there [ wont push fully home for some reason ] match the pin for pin on the hard drive, are you trying to put a SATA into a PATA ?

Have a look round the site for Nagra 3 and check if your area has been switched over yet. It sounds like you're in the process of losing all your channels.

When they have gone they are gone for good unfortunately. Nothing you do, apart from subscribing to Virgin or Sky or looking into card sharing (not discussable here I'm afraid) will give you the channels back. You will be left with the standard terrestrial channels (1, 2, ITV, 4 and FIVE) plus some of the +1 channels of the same.
