the starview 6 server is not working at the moment due to problems in ireland and has been shut down in the uk and the kryptview server is working very well so best to go for kryptview a780
|

Its not really difficult to find out the general location of any server. Just look at where your box is connecting and do a trace on the IP.
Generally though, the actual server location is of little interest to clients, except to verify that its not somewhere stupid (like in the target country) |

If you want to make up your mind, have a look here:
why should i buy starview HD combo where we're arguing as to which is better. Only YorkshireBoy is recommending the SV over the A780. Yes we are talking about the HD model, but the same arguments apply for the SV 6 Also, Im not sure if this works or not(as my receiver is off, and I CBA telling them to turn it on ), then you may be able to see where the server is by doing the following1) First, type in the IP of your router(your main one, if your using a bridge etc...) 2) Check out the DHCP table/Routing table 3) Find any ones with weird names. I believe they call the KV A780 something like "Wiznet" or something 4) From the above information, have a look to either the left/right(depending on how the table is laid out), and have a look at the IP 5)open Command prompt 6) type "tracert" and the IP address Though that may only trace the receiver right up to your local router lol
