hi
im trying to change the netid for a friend using the funcard the person lives in elephant and castle se london and the area i think is excw the old netid was 41047 the new one is 41069. this box is chipped using an original ntl card the keybox and id are written on the box. so i did a external exp using the key and id and used netid 1.7 to write the internal exp. and used netid_hex_v1.8_funcard but after i pull redjumper out and reboot put card in connect the feed cable but the box does not reboot i used a different flash 3.7 but nothing. i managed to change the netid in my pace 400 a month ago using the same method with no problem im in a excw area. please any help. i think that the person who chipped the box wrote the wrong boxkey what is the best mathod to read the original ntl card.

pull the jumper see if it will self set..

try posting in "other boxes" as this area is for chat

New Guide :setting net id on 3.7 (funcard)

could be as well have a ntl pace that is really from a c&w area, has to go back to c&w area to update ect

If you think the BK is wrong try reading the card in nagra edit 4.1 with the programmer in phoenix mode.
