Post Sky Broadband from £10 a month

When BSkyb launched its broadband service it was designed with Sky TV subscribers in mind, as the basic service was made available to them at no extra cost. However, doing business this way limited Sky Broadband to the subscriber base, many of who would already have a broadband contract. But now BSkyB is launching a standalone broadband [...]

Sounds good but you never really know what speed you're going to end up with until its installed, I think they have a postcode checker that will tell you. I was told i would get 20MB and i asked them to check to make sure and my area being far away for the exchange was only 2MB so i would have been paying for 20MB and really only getting 2MB.

Virgin defo have the internet scene at the moment.

Thumbs up Re: Sky Broadband from £10 a month

if you go on the BT site and enter the phone number

it will tell you what your line is capable of holding and from there you would get a rough estimate of what speeds you will be receiving

90% of the time they are right

So here is an example

My line is capable of hold 6MBPS

however it I only get 5MPBPS, but am paying for a 8MBPS
