Hi all,

I have VM coming soon as I've upgraded to V+ HD legit and a second legit VM box for upstairs from no TV package.

I want a 3 way splitter for downstairs to plug my Vox in as well as the modem and the new V+ HD box, do you think if I ask the installation guy he'll give me a 3 way splitter? Or will he probably realise its gotta be for something dodgy and say no/not even stock them on their vans?

The engineer that did my V+box put a 3 way splitter on for me - no problem.

nice one les did you have 3 devices to go in the splitter or did he question why you wanted 3 way? I'll give it a go

3 quid off the market, if you take the cover off your brown box outside, there is a three way splitter already in there, just run the cable from there to upstairs etc, I did, saves spliting cable inside the house and running cable internally.

Yes, he'll have one on his van, but why risk asking for one when you can just buy one cheaply, as already mentioned. Virgin are currently prosecuting those using dodgy boxes, according to the engineer I spoke to this week.

he's been and gone now, didn't ask him, he wasn't very chatty at all anyway , thanks for the advice, i'll just get a three way off ebay you suggest for £2.50

now have superb hd it's a good box this v+ hd
