Default Virgin Media

Hello everyone

I'm in the Bolton area so i am now looking to upgrade my Virgin package. Am have decided to go for the XL package with free V+HD box.

I was wondering if i keep my old Virgin box and split my cable with a splitter can i get multi room without paying the extra £5 a month that they want?

Thank you for any replies.

if you keep it they will install it in any room for an extra £6 a month not worth the hastle doing it yourself and you will also have all the catch up on demand.

I have spoken to someone at Virgin and they are sending me a V+HD box through courier this week. I have to set it up myself so that i save on the installation fee.

When it arrives if i connect it up doanstairs...will i not be able to keep my old box and keep that connected upstairs. Will the courier take my old box away?

Andy

your old box will become useless unless you pay for it, they will not send you a new card for it. your old card wont work,

Tekka84, if its round the corner and its your relative, I would do it,

a) you know where it is, and can get it at anytime.
b) they aint gonna go mad with the pay for view (dont think)
c) I dont think the CC will be spending lots of time and money tracing a mac address round the corner.
