Remember the quidco cashback
BB Line rental We're not getting any cashback for line rental unfortunately. As you can see from the title, I thought initially the cashback was only for BT total broadband Ah well. By moving to O2+BT, we'd be paying about a tenner less each month, even if we weren't getting cashback! One thing with BT is that you have to make 10 chargeable calls per month, otherwise you are fined a certain amount(you can literally make 10 1 second calls) Its best to set up a quarterly direct debit with them, as then its 30 calls per quarter, in case you go on holiday, forget for a month etc..., so you get some sort of a safety net by getting a quarterly DD

A couple of kb's is nothing, so if your TV is freezing, then its not down to your broadband connection, but instead down to the server that you are connecting to. It could also be the router. Im assuming here that its a wireless router you'll be connecting to, and if everything else connected to the ISR(wireless router) works fine, then the TV should work fine as well There is definitely a risk with cable and sat. Both VM and Sky are the two main companies that provide television. BT vision does too, however they have less market share. It wouldnt be very clever getting BB with Sky or VM Besides, if you do move to another supplier, you are saving money! BT charge £30 to install a line, if you sign up for 18 months, and even then you get that money back+more if you apply through quidco!(They give about £55, I think) BT charge £12.79 for basic line rental, and require you to make 30 chargeable calls per quarter(1 second calls count) Also, when the 50p tax is introduced, then you could opt for an electronic bill, saving you an extra 75p/month O2 give £80 through quidco, and three month free BB so by going to BT+02, its economic sense and it makes sense otherwise as well, as you wont get your ISP snooping on a couple of kb's of data per second. The ISP's are clamping down on piracy, but they will tend to go for the heavy downloaders, and not the low level downloaders After 18 months, you can use O2 to get BB+line rental from or go to Orange BB+phone. This is assuming that Orange is still the cheapest in 18 months(after O2 that is, on an unlimited package) At the moment, with Orange, its £9.50BB+£10.50 line rental, so £20 in total for both(and you may be able to get £1.25 off as well) It makes sense that it is indeed a couple of kb's, as you are only adding a line of code in to CCcam.cfg, once you've found a server, or if you are getting a KV/SV, then that line of code is already written in to an emulation of CCCam.cfg

Yes you will but with others its possible to get more than 10Mb for cheaper! Also, most people who are online only actually need a 2Mb connection.
The people who need more tend to be: the heavy downloaders gamers YouTube and certain adult sites(lol) load fine on 2Mb broadband
