I know peeps with that ISP and they are the best no doubt with high quality customer service and top notch service. Its ADSL line so this is all down to what your line is capable of handling and also how far you are from the exchange as well If you planning to use it for C/S then you dont need it a super fast connection, as all your downloading is a few kb's of data Secondly yes your TV wil be effected when your downloading movies etc etc... which in turn would be mean freezing etc etc. With a VM connection you will get the full 10MB. I wouldn't use VM or Sky for C/S thats for damn sure mate.

Or what happens sometimes is that the line is still coming from BT, but as other companies are renting in wholesale, they can afford to charge you something like £9.50 for the line if you take BB with them
We have also now moved to O2 bb(via quidco)+ a BT line rental. We were going to get Orange at first, but O2 give a better level of service and customer service as well (and they give more cashback as well-if we receive it that is )BT had an offer for £135 cashback via quidco, however that was a gamble as it was only for the first 500 customers. So we're now on O2 BB and a BT line ![]() In 18 months time, we'll probably get the line with O2 as well or more likely get Orange bb installed with the BT line we already have, considering BB companies give you cashback each time you join It pays not to be loyal lol Also, BT are going to install fibre(apparently FTTC) all over the country, so thats something to look forward to-though it comes from our tax! Saying this, if you get a non paper bill, your actually saving 75p a month after the 50p tax lol Also, with FTTC(fibre to the cabinet), then you should get your full speed that you paid for. Of course there are other factors ie: the people on the line With VM, most of the street was with them and we were getting 9.79Mb/s, so its not a big loss. We are currently on the "up to" 8Mb package, as we dont really need the "up to" 20Mb package. I was happy with 2Mb Sorry about the rant
