Default EX100sl No Sound

Hi

Just got a eurvox ex1000sl for a friend, get a pulsing picture and no sound.

Done a deep scan got all channels, etc, can view them but just a buzzing noise now. Tried my Eurvox 5100 on same scart, etc and works properly.

Any ideas to solve, I would be greatful

when u press the audio button the remote and select the correct PID does it work then or still the same problem?

Otherwise try and re flash the box and see if that solves it.

i think he may mean the volume or mute buttons? id personally check the scart lead is in proper.

to get to the PIDS on the ex1000 you hit the INFO button twice.

I havent used the box for so many years so I must have been thinking for the Starpoo boxes ..lol

anyway I apologise for that.

I would reflash the box and see if that solves the problem and of course check all connections + connectors.

Usually if am right.... if the signal is too high that can cause the buzzing sound from what i read some where and an attentutor solves that problem.

if you have a splitter on the line then I would take it out and run a direct feed.

and then see if the problem persists.

As Unadkat says
"if the signal is too high that can cause the buzzing sound from what i read some where and an attentutor solves that problem."

Your looking for your signal level to be a steady 80% some of mine range up alittle to 82% but still ok at that.
