Eurovox vMax compatible with Satellite?

Hi,

Apologies if this is a silly question. I have searched the forums but didn't find an answer.

I have an old Eurovox VMax that used to pick up N*L in Dublin about a year ago before they changed over.

I have since bought a Humax FoxSat-HDR and cabled it up fine to the satellite dish. The Dish has a quad LNB , two of which are going into Humax. The Humax has 2 LNB's IN and 1 LNB OUT.

I haven't yet cabled the other two LNB's cables from the dish yet

Question : Can I rig up the Eurovox to receive a feed from either the dish or the Humax ?

I've tried from the Humax using it's LNB out , did a scan but to no avail.

Am I wasting my (and yours !) time and should I just go and buy another satellite receiver...

I haven't yet tried using the cables already going into Humax as I haven't an adapter to adapt to Coaxial which the Eurovax has an it's input.

if it has a satellite tuner then yes, if not then no.

Sat tuners and cable tuners are different.

max V only comes with a DVB C tuner.
