Its probably about the standard charge for such a combination.
XL TV is £23 a month XXL Broadband is £28 a month Extra ox £5 per month £49 one off for the HD box is standard at this time The above costs also assume that you will tkae take the phoneline at an extra £12 per month. The charges are actually pretty similar regardless of whether or not you have the phoneline so you may as well have it. Also assumuing you pay by direct debit and have opted for electronic bills (VM charge for paper bills). VM will consider this as a new contract so lock you in for 12 months. As that is the case push hard for reduced charges as per a new customer. You should be able to get the broadband for £15 per month for 3 months and the TV completely free for 2 months. If they wont budge on this quote them as advertising that existing customers are entitled to the same deals as new customers. If they want to lock you in for another 12 months then they have to give you something !!! ps. I think they may be overcharging you for the 20Meg - its been £20 per month for a while now (£30 without the phoneline so if you haven't got the phoneline then you have a good deal). £23.50 seems a strange number though unless its for non-dd payment or paper billing etc. Last edited by TheCoder; 05-07-10 at 07:17 PM. |

If theres a difference of £1, then you'd rather go to Sky, considering you get more channels with Sky than you would do with VM. If you are going to spend that amount, then why not get a motorised dish setup as well? £71 a month is quite an amount of money
Oh yeah, dont forget the quidco cashback!

ok get this, the person i spoke to the other day has just rung me back (a day late) and has offered me a v+hd box down stairs a hd box upstairs xl tv, phone with unlimited calls 20mb broadband all for £50 a month, i could have upgraded to 50mb for an extra £8 but decided against it,
no installation fee or fee for the box i took her up on it seems pretty good to me oh sorry forgot to say it's free for two months aswell |
