ive got 2 eurovox red boxes, one went funny with the display and the 3 l.e.d's flashing when changing channel, the box still worked ok apart from the front panels led's.
then i unpluged the box and plugged it back in and now the standby led is on but theres no response from the box now i know the power supply is at fault because i tried the power supply from the other box so i measured the voltages on the faulty supply powered up 1st with ribbon not connected to main board 2nd with ribbon connected to main board 1st voltages with ribbon not connected to main board 3v= 3.23v 8v= 8.2v 12v= 12.4v 5v= 5.29v 22v= 22.4v 30= 30v 2nd voltages with ribbon connected to main board 3v= 2.3v 8v= 6.27v 12v= 13.44v 5v= 5.73v 22v= 24.49v 30= 33.4v anyone got any idea what to look for on this power supply no caps are bulging, ive not yet compared the voltages to the working supply cos there's always somone watching something |
