What exactly have you compared with what?
IT DOES EXIST! and the difference in picture quality is obvious.

I take davinia's point.A good quality 720x576 pic can be nearly as good as a poorly upscaled original that was shot in 4.3 SD in NTSC format. I think only original material shot at 1920x1080 should be called HD. Even 1440x1080 isn't really it. Remember that Japan are experimenting with pixel counts in the 4000 range. That would be HD.

no, i will have to say that HD does not exist, no matter what people will say to me, thinking they are stating the obvious, i just cannot recognise it or even say that it does exist, because quite clearly it doesnt, just another excuse to drain us of money.
what i do believe though is that it's all gimmickery. |

Have you been drinking??? You can CLEARLY see the difference between SD and HD flick between eurosport and eurosportHD, you have don't a decent HD TV I take it :P

i have a normal analogue. could never afford a new tv, even if it was "HD". but my parents own a "HD" TV and never see the difference as they advertise on tv, so no am not convinced that there is such a thing as "HD"
it doesnt exist |
