Question euro vox max lost channels

Hi,

Recently bought a eurovox max box and it was working fine. It picked up over 200 channels- great! eg all sky sports and all sky movies. To day it froze with a green screen, I had to unplug it at the mains. I now do not have any sky movies or sport channels. Has this happened to anyone else and would redoing the power scan solve this?????

I am with Telewest who have now changed to Virgin maybe this has something to do with losing the sky channels????

Please help I'm missing my lost channels already!!

Flangey

Default Re: follow this procedure and you will get your tv channels back again...trust me

hey everyone who has a euro-vox max v and has lost their channels

press menu, then goto the config icon on your tv screen, now goto clear data, enter your code to access this screen, now choose to go to the factory setting on the first frequency shown, ok it.

when this has been done, wait for your channels to have been scanned in and your tv to come back on again as normal, now press menu and select langauge, now press1968 and then make sure emaluation and EMM are enabled.

now press 1968 again and you will come up with your screen of the providers you use to get your channels, choose your provider from the list

I can only supply tele***st and N*l codes

now insert new key, for tele**st people the provider is 5A01 and the number for key 00 is ************ and the number for key 01 is ***************

for N*L people the provider is 5401 and the number for key 00 is ********** and the number for key 01 is *****************.

enter these into your boxes as your new codes for either tele**st or N*l and dont forghet to press save and exit on your remote the little blue button, now exit the menu and go back to your tv screen and you should have your channels back again.

Remember to go back to the factory setting first and clear the data on your boxes first, then rescan again and after you have saved the new settings then delete the old settings from your list of providers

Hope this helps a lot of you as I got all my channels back again, also try looking on the bigmaq site and download the bigmaq toolbar as this is how I learnt and got my info from.

Glad to help
