Awards Shows These Days
It seems that every year I enjoy the entertainment awards shows less and less. Even when on the stray occasion someone is nominated that I really enjoy, there is not desire to watch the awards. I am perfectly happy to read about the outcome in the paper or online the following day.
Has anyone else noticed a dwindling interest in these types of shows among you or your friends? |

I actually haven't watched them for a year or two. They just don't seem that important to me anymore. If I'm curious as to who won, I'll check for the results online. I would agree and say that interest (and perhaps quality?) has waned over the years.

I find them irritating, as now everyone claps like seals. The funniest thing is to see the people's faces when they lose!?
These programmes need spicing up with some controversy.  |
