Default D-Link 635

I have a d-link 635 wireless n router which has stop'ed working I dont know why as I have it only 2 years, anyway I took it apart before I recylced it and found a mini pci wireless n card inside, its now in my laptop working perfectly, question is do all wireless routers have pci cards in them ?
anyway just tought I would share this info

Quite a few of them have the mini-pci cards in them. By using a ready built module the router manufacturer can avoid having to do a lot of the approvals that brand new radio devices require.
