Default newbie with eurovox max

Hi all as iv only had my eurovox over a week (im well pleased with) i was just wondering if there was anything you or i could do just to make sure im getting the most out of it. Iv done a power scan and got about 200 chans. Really just wanted to know if im doing everything ok iv also hooked it up into my bedroom trouble is to change channel iv got to go downstairs late at nite(wonder what im watching) can i use a sky magic eye with this box or is there anying out there i can buy to stay in bed and change chan. HI peakey im sure you should have well over 300 channels as i have got about 340. What you need to do is go on menu, config, clear data, erase all channels.

Then you go back to menu, user installation, then press the red button to update channels.

That way yu shud have over 300 channels

I've just done a scan for someone tonight, it found 280 TV channels with some duplications labelled TVChan12 etc and some blank channels (Different ITV and Ireland channels etc).

The amount you get does seem to vary according to region.

i have eurovox 2008 well pleased auto updates cant fault it also i erased and deleted all channels power scanned found over a hundred more channels but was a waste of time its alright if u want 20 bbc1s 20 itvs and a load of other channels with nowt on or test channels as long as u have movies sports and ur ppv sport events dont think theres much else bothering with for a power scan unless anyone knows different? also u can get a digisender pretty cheap nowadays to send signal upstairs wirelessly with magic eye i payed £80 for mine years ago but there only about £20_£30 now or u can always as im gonna do get another box in bedroom all u need is a splitter and cable then u can watch different upstairs and down hope this helps
