Hi I have brought a eurovox ex1000
just need a bit of help setting it up please, Im going to be running it thru my v1rgin media box, and already have a spare coax lead. so basically do i just need to get a 2 way splitter for my v1rgin box (what's the correct terminology for this?! as I am going to be going to maplins to buy my stuff). I will also need an f plug to coax to connect it to the box correct?? Also i've seen you need some kind of code to get all the channels?? i've brought it used so it should have all the latest firmware on. Could anyone point me in the direction off the codes for Dudley West Midlands area Thanks |

new cards are being issued in Dudley so you are on borrowed time.
see if you can get your money back as the box in your area is practically worthless |

you can put your card in your virgin box that makes no difference to the eurovox. (your virgin box will need the new card to carry on functioning correctly)
but over the next couple of weeks Virgin will start changing the encryption method to Nagra 3 and you will gradually start losing channels until there are only the channels associated with BBC and ITV left, so in a nutshell the eurovox will be practically useless and there is no fix for this box. |

Yes scum of the earth in my opinion, just off loading their boxes to the vulnerable, an easy quick sale..
