Default Whats this i hear?

What this i hear i Work for maplins and people are coming in getting ethernet cables for the dboxes so that they can connect it to their router and go to a card sharing and.....you know what i mean lol.

Is this true as an alternative to N3? and if so worth doing and how is it done?

First have a read through the Dreambox satellite section:
Dreambox
Especially the sticky threads, this should provide you with some general information, and some ides of what to search for.

There is no way around Nagra 3, what you are doing is sharing a legitimate subscription card, either privately, or using a server, not recommended, as you don't know how trustworthy they are and how long they will last.
Either way it is illegal, but usually if it's privately done, among a few friends, then you get away with it, if however you subscribe to a server, and they are raided, then you might get a threatening letter, or worse.
Most servers are outside the country, in an attempt to avoid prosecution, it all depends how much trouble it's worth to close, or attempt to close, these servers down.
Read the Satellite Dreambox section, as suggested earlier, as the process is basically the same.

Cheers for the insight mate. This might sound stupid but how would you get a friend to share a card and were will they get it from? is it like a one of use will but the subscription, then share the cost and one keeps a copy of the coding for the card on their box?
