It's just very high up and I don't have a long enough ladder, and don't fancy buying one just for this purpose. You're not going to suggest a way of getting to the switch without using a ladder, are you? That would be good.

Well, there are ways. but the other ways would most likely cost a lot more than a ladder,

eg a cherry picker, or scaffold platform.

Are you able to post a picture of where the dish is located?
