I bought an 18 gain directional antenna and a pci wireless card plugged it into my upstairs spare pc and use that pc as a gateway on my network. I now use my C/S connection from a neighbour’s house over the road two doors up HA! I get 95% signal it’s as if I am in the room with them. How safe is that?

Generally, open WiFi connections are as traceable as just about anything else. |
