Does anyone have a copy of AnyDVD? i am trying to copy protected dvd's, im told AnyDVD is the best software?

I haven't tried any of the DVD copying software yet. How legal is it to do so? What are the possibilities of there being safeguards on the DVD to keep it from being visible once it's been copied?

Let's imagine that you're just copying one of your own DVDs in case it gets damaged. The main point of Anydvd is that it allows other copying programs (eg Clone DVD) to copy the disc without being stopped by protection.
A perfect copy should result.
Should you find that by accident a DVD finds its way on to your hard drive via the internet then the copy protection will have almost certainly already have been removed and so Anydvd will not be required.
