A. Virgin Media has announced the sale of Virgin Media Television to Sky. The sale covers the Virgin Media Television channels and associated websites. Although the ownership of the channels has changed, Virgin Media will still be providing these channels as part of its TV service. So you will still be able to enjoy fantastic programmes from channels such as Living. As part of the deal, we are also getting more top on-demand Sky TV content and a number of Sky HD channels for our TV service – which means you will have even more great programmes to watch. >>

Hi im sure this has been on the site before and its just a sale of some vm channels to sky so they offer them to there customer base and vm will get more hd channels in exchange. They are trying to work together must be an agreement between the two company's may be wrong.

This irritates me.
Clarification:
VIRGIN MEDIA HAS NOT BEEN SOLD TO SKY, AND IS NOT NOW, IN ANY WAY, A PART OF SKY.

All they've done is sold a sub company called Virgin Media TV which is essentially a few of their tv channels. So please, shut up.

Rant over.

Its a good move considering that Sky's shares are supposed to only get higher(apparently) Sky runs NDS, and if N3 is ever hacked, they may be able to get a discount as they have sold a sub company

VM is now like BT and VM TV is now like BT Open Group
