eBay.co.uk: EUROVOX MAX CABLE BOX-EURO VOX 3-LATEST 2007 MODEL (item 150096588851 end time 02-Mar-07 19:30:00 GMT)
Hi All, I am a COMPLETE newbie, and had heard that the above box, which I found on ebay, would be able to give me the full range of cable tv stations... However, I really am clueless when it comes to this stuff - so please make any explaations as simplified as possible!! I currently have ntl:telewest Broadband and basic tv package, which has now,as I'm sure you are all aware, re-branded to Virgin Media. I am in the Edinburgh area, and was hoping someone could explain to me exactly what I need to do to achieve the free and full range of channels. I am keen to get the channels, but I don’t want to pay £150.00 for something that I don’t know how to use or keep updated. Does the above eurovox 3 look as if its already flashed? It does mention that it has the latest software installed (including latest E.P.G.) as well as "auto update software". It also says its "100% plug and play"…how true will this be? Would I just need to plug in the cable which goes into my current telewest box? And if so, will the box immediately pick up ALL channels premium channels? Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to help me out! |
