Question Restoring box

Hi hoping for some help. I have an ex5000pvr and am still hanging in there at the mo, but when it all goes black will i be able to return it to it's original intended use to get freeview/FTA channels via an aerial?
Obviously it's been flashed with relevant software/firmware.
Any help appreciated. Cheers

They dont have a decoder installed for digital terristrial tv channels, although you may still receive channels 1-5 im led to believe as its currently set up.Shame eurovox hasnt gone down the same route as kryptview/Starview with the i-connector or similar set up.

I have an EX5000PVR and it's as parricull says. You can get terrestrial channels 1 thru 5 and a few of the +1 channels plus the BBC news channel and that's yer lot.

PVR works for Come Dine With Me though.

"Freeview" isn't supported on cable, and if you want it you pay for the otherwise FTA channels. Cable however does support terrestrial channels for free viewing

Your best bet will be to sell it, and then hook up a freeview box/aerial for around the same price you sold your receiver at

Well, you could get a KV A780(and a router) in order to get TV. They cost a tad more than your Eurovox cost
