Default Scrambled Channels in Devon (Exeter)

Hi Guys,
Lots of channels now gone scrambled in Exeter, Devon.
Is this part of N3 coming in or just my box? EX5000 pvr.
From reading loads of threads seems when N3 hits, all channels go at once and box becomes a doorstop, or are they dissapearing one by one?

Goochie.

Thanks for reply Unadkat.

This is wierd???
Lost all Movie channels and loads of others but not sports.
The wierd thing is a mate, half mile away, same system, hasn't lost any.
When I look again, Movies for example, programme info and titles still there, but when selected 'signal scrambled' on screen.
Surely if my loss is down to N3 then I would lose all Info ect??

Have done factory default and 'Powerscan' but same everytime.

Anyone any idea's????

Goochie.

I'd give a time frame of about a week. Thats how long it was for me. They disappear one by one till nothing.

Shame we cant just buy a basic box to give us the free to air's. Looks like ill have to see if the old dish still works and buy an HD Freesat box.

Been reading loads of threads and it does seem to be the begining of the end, but what I don't understand is that after several atempts at 'Factory Default' and then 'Powerscan' I have totally lost some channels i.e. Sky sports 4, sky sport news and a few others, they have dissapeared altogether, whereas all movie channels and some sport channels are still showing up but 'Scrambled'???
Does this mean they are there and box can't find them? Should I try to change frequencies?
I think (probably wrongly) that we just need a 'key update' to re-gain these channels, after all the box knows they are there, just can't show them??
Hope you all understand what I am trying to explain because it seems there is loads of us in this boat.

The channels are there, we need a fix. ( I hope)

What do you guys think?

Goochie
