Default do-gooder on this site

I just wanted to describe my little short experience on this website so far as I haven't posted much.

However the general feeling I got here after getting few replies that few people who have been doing stuff for long time and know what they are doing to some extend assume others (us) that we know nothing and kinda of talk to us in a tutoring matter.

If you're knowledgeable and happen to have gods given gift of figuring things easier than many of the people out there then do appreciate that gift and help others in a polite matter rather talk in a way 'I know this and I know what I'm talking about and you know jack ****'.

Hope I managed to get my point across.

Regards to all forum users the knowledgeable and the newbies ..

I'm a new user on this forum or at least think so even though I have signed up few months ago. I joined the forum after coming across few links on google as I was researching onto some subjects.

Rather than just come in and ask how do we do this and how do we do that I just sweep through the topics and read the stuff that interest me or relative to my subjects of research.

I guess I'm not fortunate enough to have a skin as thick as the elephant's skin like some other users on here. But those intellectual enough to use today's gadgets and modern technology should have the mental capacity to respect each other opinions and address them in an appropriate manner regardless of what communication media they are using.

Finally let me thank you for bringing my attention to the thickness of my skin, I will now look into this further

I think your missing the point, unless the info you read just magically appeared.
Im guessing somebody wrote it and since your thanks account is zilch i'll just have to assume you fit in to that TAKE TAKE TAKE bracket.

Now had you come on here with even just 1 thanks i could of maybe seen your point, but to come on here moaning about peoples attitudes thats a bit of a hippocrate

You're missing the point. This was about how some people responded to my posts and general behavior. Instead you're talking about me not thanking people who I read their posts?

Are you just out to use your gun, spudgun?

Don't worry about it efini.

You will encounter various types of people, just as you do everywhere else. Peeps just seem to get a little braver when they've not got to speak to a person face to face. Most of the guys I think do try not to belittle others, but there are bound to be exceptions.

In an ideal world, everyone would behave as you would like, but this is the real world, and they won't. Mods will sometimes step in if anyone gets overly rude though.
