Evening to all, hope you can help or at least send me looking in the right direction. I have an ambit250 flashed with infinite. I have used a working MAC from a friends modum in the newcastle area. my area seams to be using dynamic config files so I can't force the config. I have tried several differant IP's for the TfTP server. what I get is a connection that conects up, shows network access is allowed, but I can't get on the internet. the connection seams to drop straihjt away and then connects back up again. this goes on constantly reconnecting. I have read somthing like 10-15 differant guids but can't find any answers as to the problem. if anybody has any ideas much appreciate the help as I've been going round incircules for about 4-5 weeks now. Thasnks manix.

leave tftp blank and un tick force config

im from redcar mate and i would reflash the modem with haxoware. its alot easyer to change macs. and if you got a mac from newcastle i dont think that would work in redcar you will need to do alot of reading on this forum mate but tbh its more of a pain in the arse to do now.

YEP I THINK SO.

im in gateshead and i could kick a can and it would land in newcastle, im that close and i cant get macs from the toon 2 work so i think he will need macs from where he is from..

i thought redcar/teeside got turned off so u cant use the modems anymore now?
